Atheists: are you any less critical of islam than you are of christianity for fear of repercussions such as?

Not in the least. If I ever appear less critical of Islam, it would only be because I'm surrounded by and more exposed to Christianity by a very large margin. Internally, I view them as near identical, save that I think that Islamic fundamentalism is much more primal and immediately dangerous if only because of the scale of it.
