I have a gap I want to close?

Just get braces its totally worth it. Braces dont only fix your teeth but they fix your bite as well. And since your teeth are already straight, you will probably only have to wear braces for around 9 months (that is if your bite is perfect...). And I'm sure alot of people your age have braces so its not abnormal in any way.
