What should I feed a vole?

don't keep him for too long, make sure you release him where you found him when you've fed him something and are sure he's okay (no more than a couple of days). you can feed him pretty much anything. some voles lived in my shed once and they used to steal the food we put out for the birds. another time, i didn't want to eat my cheese sandwich so i threw it out for the birds, and i caught them eating that as well! but i think you should stick to things they might find in the wild, like carrots and seeds. If you have any bird food lying around, they will love that. i wouldn't feed him worms, meat ect because voles, unlike moles, are mostly plant eaters. i would give him some water, just put it in a milk bottle lid or a little container. good luck to you and your vole!!! :)
